Where your contributions go
SSS builds your pension, sickness, maternity, disability and salary-loan eligibility. Your salary is rounded into a Monthly Salary Credit in ₱500 steps, and the contribution is 15% of that credit.
PhilHealth is your national health insurance; the premium is 5% of your basic salary, shared with your employer.
Pag-IBIG (HDMF) is a savings fund that also unlocks housing and calamity loans. Your regular savings earn dividends. If you want more, the voluntary MP2 program usually pays higher dividends.
