1. What Iponista is

Iponista is a personal money tracker. It helps you record and understand your own spending, savings and debts. It is not a bank, e-wallet, lender or investment service, and it cannot move real money.

2. Not financial advice

Tips, reminders, calculators and insights are general information for planning. They are not financial, tax, legal or investment advice. For decisions that matter, talk to a licensed professional or the relevant agency (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).

3. Your data, sync and recovery key

Your records are stored on your device and synced to your account in encrypted form. Because the synced copy is locked with your password and your recovery key, we cannot unlock it for you: if you reset your password by email and have lost your recovery key, the synced copy can't be opened (the data on a phone you still have is not affected). Keep your recovery key safe and export a backup now and then. Iponista also keeps automatic backups on your device.

Academy certificates show that you passed a self-paced course in the app. They are not professional licences, and we may revoke one that was obtained by misuse; the public verify page then says so.

4. Acceptable use

Use Iponista lawfully and don't try to disrupt, reverse-engineer for abuse, or misuse the service or website.

Your Iponista account is free and personal. Give a real email address, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users or the service at risk, and we'll tell you why by email.

You can delete your account at any time in More → Account & security. It is erased 7 days later unless you sign in and keep it.

5. Trademarks

Bank, e-wallet and service names and logos shown in Iponista belong to their owners. They appear only to help you recognize your own accounts. Iponista is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

6. Paid features

The core app is free. Optional paid features (such as Iponista Pro or Cloud) will show their price and terms before you pay, and follow the refund rules of the store or payment provider you use.

7. No warranty

Iponista is provided "as is". We work hard to keep calculations correct, but we can't guarantee the app is error-free. To the extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for losses from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have under Philippine consumer law.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll tell you in the app. Continuing to use Iponista means you accept them.
