3 easy steps
How to use it
Step 1
Type your monthly take-home pay.
Step 2
See how much goes to needs, wants and ipon.
Step 3
Set the same budget in Iponista so it lasts the month.
Make the split automatic
The trick is to move your 20% on payday, before you spend: transfer it to a separate account like GSave, a digital bank, or Pag-IBIG MP2. What stays in your main wallet is what you can spend.
In Iponista you can set a budget per kinsenas and get reminded before bills are due, so the plan survives the whole month.

Frequently asked questions
What is the 50/30/20 rule?
Spend 50% of your take-home pay on needs, 30% on wants, and save or pay debt with the remaining 20%.
What if my needs are more than 50%?
Very common in Metro Manila where rent and pamasahe are high. Start with what's realistic, like 60/30/10, and raise your ipon share little by little.
Should I use this for each kinsenas?
Yes. If you're paid on the 15th and 30th, split each payday the same way so you're never short before the next sahod.
Where do utang payments go?
Minimum payments are needs. Paying more than the minimum to clear debt faster counts toward your 20%.
